Later on, you can use the torn-off pages to cover your ice tea when the ladybugs swarm. Just the bright, light-hearted kind of thing to sit on your kitchen counter to amuse you during that first cup of coffee, and help orient you to what day it is. Cute little day-to-day tear-off calendar. Typically colorful Engelbreit illustrations, and charming quotes, like "If people did not sometimes do silly things, nothing intelligent would ever get done" (Ludwig Wittgenstein).
It has great quotes, sayings and artwork. I love this calendar and buy it every year.
The artwork is spectacular and the little daily witticisms are a wonderful way to start the day. You can never go wrong with a Mary calendar.
Now it is almost the end of January and although some of the pages are repeats, I am still enjoying each new day. I had received the 2008 Mary Engelbreit's Mary Days Calendar as a Christmas gift. Engelbreit for sharing her wonderful talent with the world. Thanks to Ms. Although I dropped many hints to the person that gifted me as to how much I looked forward to each new day of whimsical pitures and sayings, I didn't receive a new calendar this past Christmas. Alas, the starting of a new year without Mary Engelbreit just seemed unbearable so I ordered my own.
It's just happy. this is so much fun to look at every day. It brings a smile to your face.
